Are these events worth it? Each event is like 20-30 bucks? Some of these events are held about 1.5 hrs drive away so time is also a concern. |

Cost and time? Well ,,, what would you be doing with that $20 – $30 and 4 – 5 hours if you didn’t attend? How profitable are the time and money in their next best use? |

CFA networking events usually tend to be mostly unemployed or underemployed people trying to break into finance. Very unlikely you'll see a PM, senior analyst, hiring manager etc that attends these things to "get candidates" |
CFA Discussion Topic: Are CFA networking events worth it?
I am using your study notes and I know of at least 5 other friends of mine who used it and passed the exam last Dec. Keep up your great work!
