hi, due to visa reasons i will not be able to sit for level 1 exam next week, should i inform the CFAI or not? i.e is there any consequences if i failed to inform them? thanks |

you can simply not show up to exam. A lot of people do that. You do not have to inform CFAI, there's no penalty |

Sorry to hear about this. Have you tried asking for help from travel agencies (of course you will pay them some fee)? And no, you don't have to inform CFAI. Many people didn't show up on exam days for many reasons. If I were you I would ask CFAI to shift me to the exam in Dec 2018. You have been studying for a while; your money, time and efforts were put in ... It is a waste if you cannot show up just because of a visa issue. |

I just wanted to share the good news that I passed CFA Level I!!! Thank you for your help - I think the online question bank helped cut the clutter and made a positive difference.
