At palmOne we currently have an excellent career opportunity available for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance department. An ideal candidate will have Minimum of 5 years experience as an Individual Contributor as a Financial Analyst in a fast pace, team driven environment. Primary Responsibilities 1. Manage and administer the financial planning system (Hyperion Planning). 2. Set and communicate Corporate planning guidelines to finance and operating units. 3. Provide direct financial support to the IT and Site Services operating groups. 4. Create expense budgets, headcount reports, and prepare financial statements. 5. Manage and monitor roughly $10 million in expense activity per quarter. 6. Identify, set, and monitor accruals each month as part of the closing process. 7. Assist in the creation of Board Presentations and financial reports using Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary Responsibilities 1. Manage and monitor the feed between SAP and Hyperion Essbase. 2. Interface with external auditors as necessary. 3. Create and maintain process documentation related to the financial planning process. Required Qualifications 1. Roughly five years experience in a financial analyst role. 2. Proven experience presenting and interacting with VP of Finance level people. 3. Experience with Enterprise wide financial planning software systems (Hyperion preferred). 4. Must have intermediate-to-advanced understanding of spreadsheet modeling. Desired Qualifications 1. Bachelors degree in finance, business, or economics. 2. Knowledge of SEC and GAAP reporting requirements. 3. Experience with an SAP or ERP equivalent general ledger systems. |

can u help me out to know wht is the work of the cfa ,is it somewhat similar to CA , can the cfa's also do an audit. plz.... tell me in detail what for a cfa is needed. |
