Hi there! I am currently completing a Master's degree in Mathematics at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. I am extremely want to get in CFA, but I don't have any financial background and I don't know where to start with my Msc in mathematics. I need your advice. Hi I am also staying in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am giving my CFA level 1, this December and I am from an engineering background. If you ask me you are in good position to start with your M.Sc Maths, because most of the subjects in CFA are based on Quants. Only thing is that you have to have interest in finance. The interest in Finance will always get you through the dry subjects like Econ and Fixed Income analysis etc. Satheesh P R |
