Hi, I have 11+ yrs of experience in software industry, in Investment and banking domains. I need advice on whether I should go for CFA to get the required investment banking domain experience and knowledge, as I do have interest in investments. I have 2 questions: I) For getting required 4 yrs relevant experience, would I get some job being of non finance background? Would I get decent salary and if yes, how much least could I expect? II)Is it advisable to put such a huge time and efforts after having 11+ yrs of experience of non-finance domain? Are there any success examples? |

I passed! I did not get a chance to tell you before the exam - but your site was excellent. I will definitely take it next year for Level II.
