Hi Guys, Just needed some advice. I got through my CFA level 1 in June 14; going for my level 2 in June 2016. I've basically got 2 years work experience within operations of an insurance brokerage - primarily handle individual life insurance / savings and investment plans. There's no analysis etc involved; it's just a support function for the sales team. I'm hoping to get into a job that requires more... intellect I guess! Am really interested in 2 areas basically - either moving towards risk management on the insurance side (for that am thinking of getting into the General Insurance side to understand how that area works) or going towards Investment management primarily towards research analysis. Would anyone have any advice on how to move towards the areas I'm interested in using my CFA and insurance experience(but non-existent financial analysis background)?? |
