Hi, I'm planning to take the CFA exam by December 2010. I graduated with an accounting major and just passed the CPA exam. With regards to additional steps that I have to carry on since I don't have a finance major, will it be possible to rely on the review materials to pass the exam considering my background in accounting. I don't have a formal education with financial topics such as derivatives, portfolio, etc. Also, what do you think is the BEST reviewer available in the market right now. Any recommendation how should I study for the CFA since I don't have a strong finance background and not heard about the best strategy to execute. Thanks and I do really appreciate your response. |

The review material should be a complement to the curriculum, I myself posses a finance major and had to go through the whole curriculum to be safe. |

I am happy to say that I passed! Your study notes certainly helped prepare me for what was the most difficult exam I had ever taken.
