What's the overall CFA level pass rate? (Total and for individual sessions) I was told it is somewhere around 70% for all subjects. Is that true? How much should I be aiming for during study sessions to achieve this? I have 4-5 months left to study and do review questions while working. Any suggestions/ strategies I should use here? (e.g. completely take off derivatives or something that only account for 5% of the syllubus) |

I think you would need around more than 70% questions correct for each section. |

You probably need 70% overall, but not necessarily in every section. |

For example, if your reported score band is 1, you scored in approximately the bottom 10% of failed candidates. If your reported score band is 2, your score was within the next band width ranging from approximately the bottom 11% to 20% of failed candidates. If your score band is reported as 10, you scored in the top 10% of all failed candidates. Performance band of your overall score among all candidates who failed the exam: 7 |
