Hi, Please i want to seek your advice on this issue. I holds a Bsc and mba degrees in banking and finance from universities in Nigeria, and wants to take cfa. What level will i start? Must i still have to go back to obtain another mba in an American university to qualify me for a job? How would cfa help me in getting my dream job! Corporate or investment banking. dartz |

You will need to pass Level I before you can try Level II. Having an MBA doesn't change which exams you take, we all have to pass all three exams. Be prepared to spend a few hundred dollars on books or study notes and also about $800-1000 for registering for the exam. Finally, the CFA Institute recommends at least 250 hours of study for each exam and I think most people probably study much more than that to pass, although sometimes they might spread out their study time over a couple years if they don't pass the first time. |
