Hi Mohan, We don't know what you have learn in share market cource. CFA is much more than share's trading. You will have to study quantitative methods, Economics, Financial Analysis, Asset valuation, Portfolio management, Derivtives, Equity valuation, Bond's valuation, Real estate investment opportunities. If you want to become Research Analyst then CFA is good for you. If you just want to undertand how to do Fundamental Analysis then you can get lot of stuff on investopedia.com web site. Study some books on warren buffet and Ben Grahem. These 2 authores are sufficient. Don't do to much reading. If you decide you can do it. You have to dedicate 3 years for it. So it's up to you where you want to go in life. Regards, DD. |

Just my opinion but you're wasting your time if you plan on staying in IT. I don't see it really adding much to you if you're just a programmer. |
