Hi, I'm considering sitting for the CFA Level 1 in December but before I make the commitment, I would like to know what the prospects are with regard to career growth. I am an Electrical engineer currently training in the telecomms field. I don't forsee myself changing jobs to the finance field in the next year unless I have some finance related qualification (maybe Level 1 pass) to back myself in the finance field. Can I sit for all three levels if I'm not in a financial field and also if I do pass would I be able to use the title CFA? I'm not sure what I can gain career-wise with a CFA. Any guidance in this respect would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |
