Hello all I am going to finish grad soon and I have decided to prepare for the CFA exam for the knowledge to be gained from the rigrous prep work. I dont know which entry level job to pursue to augment my preprations for the exam. Can you guys advise whether equity research assistant is a good entry level position for this industry? I think if you could get into Equity research do so. I think after i graduated i would have loved to. The premise you are working on may be in an obscure direction. Choosing to do CFA because of its rigor or popularity or prestige, and then chosing what sort of career to fit it is somewhat dubious. As a graduate i loved numbers, formulae, models, economics, financial markets - if any of this sounds interesting then go for CFA. Your interests in the field will carry you to where you'd like to be. Hope this helps. |
