I am a Level II candidate and don't think, for the way I learn, there is enough time to study in my life for the June 2010 exam so i plan to take it in June 2011. I cant get the 2011 materials yet but do have the 2010 Level I materials. In that material there is a lot of content in each section that is "optional" reading. It deals with what looks like, on the surface, the general stuff that Level II goes into.

If anyone knows I would like to find out if that material is the same and would like to hear if their opinion on if that is a good place to start reading before I can officially register and receive my 2011 material (FYI: I found out in Level I that I NEED to read the material, so plz keep that in mind)

Thanks for any insight

I think the best place to start would be with Analyst Notes. The readings are different and I cant say for sure whether some of the optional reading in level I is level II stuff (sorry, dont have the time to check!). I have finished reading the level II texts and am now using this site. You will get a good headstart starting here. If you really want the texts, you could purchase them on ebay for a very reduced price (might be a year old). Hope this helps.
