Hi everybody, I am considering to take CFA Level 1 in Dec. Need a little bit advice. I am current working as an Investment consultant for one of the big 5 banks in Canada. And I am also planning to move to the states maybe next year. I like what I am doing for now, but want to move to the portfolio management side if that is possible. So here is my game plan. I want to do CFA Level 1 in Dec. After Level 2, I will start looking for a job in portfolio management, how does this sound? Will appreciate any advice. I have a bachalor in Marketing, master in communications. No formal financial education, except I have CSC & CPH, and selling mutual funds now. I am in my late 20s. Thanks so much, guys. |

I am happy to say that I passed! Your study notes certainly helped prepare me for what was the most difficult exam I had ever taken.
