Ok here it goes ...... I have had three interviews (I hate to admit it) and everytime, the interviewers have one way or another of asking the same question and I sadly do not seem to be able to answer the question PERFECTLY...... so if you know of a great book, website that can help me think about this question I would greatly appreciate it..... The question is "What makes a good business and why" Sounds easy right .....NOT!!! Thanks, Nikita |

It's a trick question. There is no "Perfect" answer. It's a lame question and demonstrates a weak interviewer but since they have the job you want you need to play the game and understand what they're really after. And that is to see if you can put more than one sentence together in a cohesive manner and are convincing about your opinion. The trick is to make your answer relate to their business model. Example, financial services is not about choosing the right investment vehicle for clients but rather "Solution Management." A monkey can pick mutual funds, clients want you to listen to their problems and help them "solve" all of their financial and perhaps even life issues. |

I passed! I did not get a chance to tell you before the exam - but your site was excellent. I will definitely take it next year for Level II.
