Hi all, To have CFA certificate, we have to pass 3 levels, right? I graduated in Information Technology, can I do self-prreparation for this certificate? I work in the office 48hrs per weeks, can I join the exam in June? Is that overload? |

Firstly CFA is a charter and not a certificate. Yes you can prepare by yourself, most of the candidates do. I recently passed the L1 in June 2009, believe me, it's a tough exam. I have Engg background and would have easily put in more than 300 hrs of study. All the best. |

Nah depends what interests you have and why you want to pursue CFA. If you want to a career shift from IT to finance which inculcates corporate finance, portfolio management, accounting or alternative investments then this field is for you. |

I was very pleased with your notes and question bank. I especially like the mock exams because it helped to pull everything together.
