Cleared Level-1 in Dec'11 in first attempt. Scored >70% across all the areas except AI.

However, this has brought more dillemma than happiness at the moment. Should I register for L2 in Jun'12? What do you guys suggest? Is 4 months going to be enough? Please bear in mind I have a family. I did manage L1 by pretty much studying everything in the last 45 days and taking 2 weeks off. But I don't think L2 is going to be that easy.

I'm taking a break. I want to take L2, but I'm not sure at this point if I can put in the time needed in only 4 months. Realistically, if you want a month to review, you really only have about 12 weeks to get through all 18 study sessions of the material as it stands right now (all of feb, march, april; all May is review). I guess it's just a personal choice, and plenty of people have succeeded doing Dec. then June.

I cleared L1 in Dec 2011 and will sit for L2 June 2012. I use the same approach as Wilkster (cover material in 3 months and review/questions 1 month). I work full time and it is going to be extremely difficult. I am sure it’s going to be twice as difficult for you anisk since you have a family to take care of. However, if you manage your time effectively ANYTHING is possible. It’s no easy task but you can do it. L1 was a lot to absorb but it went smooth. Looking at L2 Quant section, it’s a daunting task but I am sure with practice I will be able to get it done. Besides, what’s the worst that’s going to happen when you sit for L2? Fail? It’s only going to make you stronger. Plus it will be better preparation for your second go at it. Let’s stay positive and good luck to everyone.
