How much is tested on level 2 accounting? The study guide says accounting and corporate finance are 30% of the exam. If you weight it by study sessions, that would break down to 60% accounting, 40% corporate finance. Does that seem accurate? |

Acctg and Corp Finance are the roughly 30% of the total exam they talk about. Out of that 30%, though, the split is probably in the neighborhood of the 60-40 you mentioned, which would make accounting rougly 20% of the whole exam and CF roughly 10%. Keep in mind that we're likely to see some accounting baked into the equity valuation questions (i.e. in the form of sifting through footnotes to financial statements to determine FCFF and/or FCFE). |
