What is the passing grade (% correct) to pass level I? It would be nice to have a reference point when doing the practice exams. Also, I am reading about 80% failure rate on this level, but the data is old. What are the passing rates nowadays? |

Passing rates are available at the CFAI website. Passing grades are not disclosed and are based on a variety of psychometric reference points. However, generally speaking, you can expect to pass with a 70% correct level. |

THere are 240 questins on the exam. You should have around 170 right if you want to pass. also, it depends how the other people are doing. |
