I am pursuing a Phd in electrical engineering and want to land up in a finance job. Does CFA exam help me?

Hi Vivek,

A CFA should certainly help you steer your way through finance. You will gain a lot in terms of the vocabulary of the finance world and the basic functioning of financial markets. The CFA Program is predominantly about Investment Valuation, Financial Statement Analysis and Portfolio Management. If you wish to take up a career as an Equities Analyst for technology companies, a blend of the two qualifications will be very useful. Lastly, if you want to look at the exact topics you will study as part of the CFA Program, take a look at this url:www.cfainstitute.org

I passed! I did not get a chance to tell you before the exam - but your site was excellent. I will definitely take it next year for Level II.
