Hello, we can get std deviation for normal statistic problems on the calcutor by putting in valies for X and Y. Can we get the same for probability disributions - by using X as probaility of out come, and Y as outcome, we get the (Sum of) XY - which is the expected outcome, but then the std devation is incorrect - is there a correct way to do this? thanks |

Typed in for x {0.3;0.3;0.4} for y {3;5;7} - everything works fine, stdev is right for x and y Might be problem with input? |

I was very pleased with your notes and question bank. I especially like the mock exams because it helped to pull everything together.
