Hi all.. I finished my B Sc in Computer Info Sys, and currently working in a bank as IT Support Eng.I wish to change my job as i find more job prospects and higher paid salaries in my bank for Finace/Investment as compared to IT Dept. I dont find any scope in IT now. I wish to do CFA but i aint sure if i can actually do with no prev experience. But Iam smart and catch up things very fast. Working hard isn’t any problem for me. Now iam confused should I go for CFA or finish my MBA get some base in finace and then do my CFA or do both of them together(kinda silly). If I plan to change job now, I don’t think my bank will bother giving me a job in finance empty handed. If I pass Level 1 exam guess that might help me initially get a job. Or shall I wait and finish my MBA. If anyone of you is a CFA or atleast completed CFALevel 1 exam, can you please tell me if a person like me can attempt for the exams, and app how many months prep will be required? Please help.
