Hi all.
I worked as a financial analyst for a small consulting firm my first 3 years out of college (2011-2014) before switching into product management in the telecommunications/Internet software sector. While I have no immediate I have many reasons for exploring the CFA track, I have no immediate plans to return to the financial sector, I would like to have the designation for down the road in terms of other career options or to possibly leverage with my information technology background. This is not something I take lightly. Judging from your posts, I recognize I have no small task ahead of me. In addition, I do not have a profession that offers some levels of synergy to my regular studying and preparation. Your comments and insights are sincerely appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

You can do it. I'm an automotive dealer market planner and don't work in financial services whatsoever and I'm taking level one in June. It's a huge undertaking, but if you're dedicated and serious, you can do it. |
