Hey I am not sure about simulated performance presentation with disclosure regarding the Code and Standards and GIPS. Code and Standards: Simulated Performance with disclosure: Violation regarding Standard III D. Performance Presentation Not a Violation regarding Standard III D. Performance Presentation GIPS: Simulated Performance with disclosure: In compliance with GIPS not in Compliance with GIPS My guess is that it is not a violation regarding the Code and Standards but its not in compliance with GIPS? Thanks for your clarifications |

I am not to sure what your asking specifically. Basically if you claim compliance with GIPS you cannot reference any simulated performance, regadless if you disclose or not disclose. There are no exceptions to this. GIPS is a performance presentation standard and as such is focused on giving the truest picture of comparability across companies of what has actually happened, not what could have or potentially may happen. |
