@2007-06-01 16:16:29		 Can anyone explain skewness in relation to "gains and losses". For example, looking at a positively skewed distribution, i don't get the frequent small losses and few extreme gains thing. HELP!!

@2007-06-10 00:30:07		 This is because negaitve skew has the peak in the right and "excess" tail to the far left (extreme loss.)
