If I am awarded the charter, and then if I subsequently leave the finance industry but continue to pay dues and whatever else is necessary under normal circumstances to keep the charter, will I be able to keep my charter? Or do I have to be employed in the industry similar to a series 7? |

As long as you pay your dues and complete your professional conduct statement each year, you remain an active charterholder. If you stop paying dues and completing your PCS, you become an inactive member. You can return to active status by paying a reinstatement fee and dues, and completing a PCS. |
