Hi, I'm engineer and considering doing the CFA. On the self assessment test my results were: 43% on Financial statement analysis 80% on Markets and instruments (5 questions) 27% on Economics They say below 70% needs additional study prior to CFA Does someone know how much I need and if the books and note give that basic knowledge? Thanks! |

You apprarently need a lots of study on economics and financial statement analysis. You probably need to read textbooks on these two subjects as well, and I guess that study notes from analystnotes should be good for you on other subjects. |

Thanks for the reply. Is it enough to follow the CFA textbooks in economics and financial statement analysis or are they too advance to begin with? Thnks Arash |

I just wanted to share the good news that I passed CFA Level I!!! Thank you for your help - I think the online question bank helped cut the clutter and made a positive difference.
