|When working through many of the problems here, as well as on the mock exams, I'm finding it hard to relate some of the questions back
to the los. For example, there will be questions like "what account is not included in shareholders equity" and there will 3 or 4 abstract accounts that I've never heard of, or one question said " what is SFAS 34 represent?". From anyone who has written the real cfa exam, can I expect to get the odd question where I have to know little details such as this? I always sort of pegged the actual exam to contain mostly logical conceptual problems you have to work through rather be expected to know minute details. Just wondering if I should spend some significant time hammering down on this little stuff. Any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
|I think you can expect some questions involving minute details.
My advice is: don't waste your time trying to go all throug
the stuff. When a detail-question appears, do your best shot
and specialy, DON'T GET NERVOUS. 75% of candidates will miss that
question. Instead, try to concentrate and don't miss the easy

I passed! I did not get a chance to tell you before the exam - but your site was excellent. I will definitely take it next year for Level II.
