Hi guys,

Following are the required textbooks for CFA level I. Is that all we require for Level I or there are some which Iím missing here? Moreover, should I buy the CFA study material compiled by CFA institute for $395 or textbooks would be a better option?

1-Standards of Practice Handbook, 9th edition (CFA Institute, 2005) $25

# 12, 13 and 14 are not available on CFA bookstore website. Total cost for the 11 textbooks is $713 with Candidate discount and without shipping charges.

r u new to fin field ?if yes then u should pur all recomm text books or institutes materials otherwise u can rely on old books + this sites notes ezily , all depends on ur old studies u have taken already ~

I have found the CFA institute compliled text books helpfull in the sense that they save a lot of time which I'd otherwise spend in jumping from one book to another and finding required part.

Yes, i do have background in finance and currently i'm a market analyst in Dubai. Hence, CFA compiled textbooks plus this sites notes will be a good option.

i' like to know if somebody sell the level 1 Cfa exams 2006 at good price.
