Hi friends,

Does any body know if there is a time limit on the completion of the 3 levels' exams? Say, one must pass all 3 levels' exam in 3 years or so? And Do we have to pass the 3 levels' exam in a row? I mean, if someone failed in level 2, does he have to restart from level 1?

Hi DDBB,

There is a time limit of 5 years to complete all the 3 levels after you have regitered with the CFA Institute.

If you don't complete within this time frame, you will have to re-register. But if you have passed level 1 or 2 and could not take level 2 or 3 within this validity period of 5 years, you don't have to go back to level 1. You can re-register and take level 2 or 3.

I passed! I did not get a chance to tell you before the exam - but your site was excellent. I will definitely take it next year for Level II.
