I'm just sitting the first exam and bought the notes from the site - have a background in maths and taken some masters level courses in financial maths.......what's the latest I could leave studying for the exams? I'm already working in the city, so would have to fit in the revision outside of work - weekends, after work etc...

When did everyone else start?

It's a person-by-person thing, but starting now would give you enough time to gradually ramp up your studying. Even with a finance/math/quant. background, it is amazing ( and kinda depressing) how much you forget (and must re-learn) over time. Best of luck!

I'm sitting in for June 2017 level 1 exam. I started studying last January. So that would be about 5 months. I tell you, I'm still short of time and I'm freaking out. My exam is next Saturday!

now should be a good starting point, setup a plan and stick with it, thats the most important thing. its a ton of info to digest...I've done five sessions here and marked over 120 favorite questions to review later

I just wanted to share the good news that I passed CFA Level I!!! Thank you for your help - I think the online question bank helped cut the clutter and made a positive difference.
