This depends on few answers: 1) Do you have financial background? 2) Are you currently employed? Unemployed? The reason why I'm asking this is because you will need at least 300 hours to study and studying while working 40 hours a week can be difficult. I'm currently employed and I try to put in 2-3 hours per day on weekdays and 3 hours on Saturday (because I go out) then 8 hours on Sunday. But My coworker who took the level 1 last June 2010, passed just by studying for 2 months. Once you register to CFAI, they will send you all the reading materials. There will be 5 thick books. Its up to you if you want to study using these or use other providers i.e. Kaplan's schweser or this website (AnalystNotes). Hope this helps! |
