Hey all, I was hoping that some one could help me out here. I am two months into studying for the Dec level 1 exam. So far I have read through about 75% of the CFA curriculum ebook, taking notes and answering the questions at the end of each chapter. Im not really sure how I should go about preparing for the exam and I have a number of questions that I was hoping to get some help with: 1. Do I need any additional material to get through the exam? 2. Has anyone previously used the ebook and if so, how did you find it? 3. Do I need to register for a review course of some sort? Any guidance about how I should go about studying for the exam would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all your help in advance folks. |

I'd add that putting all the equations and key lists of material into notecards and taking those with you whereever you go will be helpful too Youâ??re way ahead of the game if you're 3/4 of the way through the material. |

1. You don't NEED anything other than what CFAI provides. 2. Yes, for Levels I and II. It's fine. It has all the material you need. 3. Not if you don't want to. Finish reading and doing all the EOC questions. Definitely do all of the practice assessments that CFAI provides on your portal, and do the mock exams they provide. Look at your weak areas and go through them again and maybe watch some videos if you still can't understand it. If you are 75% through the reading now you are in good shape. Take a bunch of practice tests and rework the end of chapter questions and review the areas you're struggling in. You'll be fine. |

I just wanted to share the good news that I passed CFA Level I!!! Thank you for your help - I think the online question bank helped cut the clutter and made a positive difference.
