How many here are paranoid of a calculator going nuts on you and blinking or blanking out.Whats the best solution?
A) spend and not be cheap , waste $50 and take 2
b) take just a battery and screw driver
C) BUY THE thing and dont open it wonder if aimr lets you take scissors and plastic packaging to desk (LOL)
D) you are so confident with your HP or TeX, its been going for 4 years on the same battery...you said nah you'll be fine.wHATS THE BEST ANSWER!..... cmon cfa candidates...give me your best educated guess.I need an idea. I do not want 2 of these blooming horrible calculators. They're kinda useless beyond the CFA exam.

If you don't want to run the risk, you got to pay the premium. Take (A), pal!!

As long as you're being paranoid, don't forget to bring extra batteries for your watch. Nothing would be worse than running out of time because your watch stopped two hours earlier.Solar watches are another option, but I'd prefer automatic self-winding watches with glow in the dark arms in case it's too dark in the test room for solar watches...

I just wanted to share the good news that I passed CFA Level I!!! Thank you for your help - I think the online question bank helped cut the clutter and made a positive difference.
