jgraham6 not exactly true. social security numbers do have order. your state of birth determines some of the numbers in the social security number. it is not random.

renataa I don`t think this question is fair... The answer depends on the way the number is constructed/allocated to the individual. How do we know how the US govt choses the number... is it random or in order...? I would assume numbers would normally be allocated in some order to have some consistency and to avoid repetition... Questions like that disappoint me in the whole CFA program...
